For Teachers/Classroom Partners
Our schools and educators play a vital role in helping children and families save for their future.
School staff, teachers and administrators are key partners in Future Bound Miami and are vital to helping families and children access financial resources and understand the benefits of enrolling in a Children’s Savings Account program.
We are committed to sharing resources and supporting our teachers so they can continue to promote financial literacy in the classroom in partnership with Junior Achievement. Currently, we are working with Miami-Dade County Public Schools that feed into the five high schools located in the City of Miami.
We provide live trainings with teachers and administrators to share program updates and provide financial literacy “Launch Lessons” that can be used in the classroom. Our teacher trainings can also be accessed though M-DCPS Social Sciences portal.
If you have not already scheduled your Future Bound Miami/Junior Achievement financial education session, please reach out to us for support to do so.
Launch Lessons Include:
-
How One Earns Income
-
The Importance Of Saving
-
Ways To Save Money
-
